Ms. Colte Sanders is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelor of Social Work, both from Indiana University. She also has a Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville.
Ms. Sanders has experience working with a broad range of clients and presenting issues. These include multiple settings such as community mental health, inpatient substance use, outpatient substance use, and foster care. She utilizes a person-centered approach in therapy and is trained in EMDR and CBT.
Ms. Colte Sanders is also an adjunct professor, teaching at IU in the Social Work Department. She is currently a BSW Field Liaison, teaching a practicum course for undergraduates.
She greatly enjoys working with young adults (ages 18-25), perinatal mental health, those transitioning into parenthood, and those with substance use disorders, and has experience with clients of all ages across the life span.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family, sewing, playing board games, exploring new areas, and drinking coffee.
