Daisy Anspach, LCSW, is a dedicated Social Worker with a passion for supporting diverse clients, including Asian and Asian American individuals, international students, and college students throughout Indiana. Daisy holds a Master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington. Having grown up in both Taiwan and the United States, Daisy is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and offers bilingual therapy for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Daisy specializes in helping clients navigate cultural adjustment, identity development, and trauma recovery. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association https://www.emdria.org/ . She also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), into her trauma-informed, client-centered approach. Daisy has extensive experience working with college students and young adults, especially those facing academic stress, cultural transitions, and mental health challenges at Indiana University and beyond.

As an Adjunct Lecturer at Indiana University’s School of Social Work, Daisy taught “Understanding Diversity in a Pluralistic Society,” reflecting her commitment to multicultural competence and inclusive care. She collaborates with clients to meet their mental health goals in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Outside of her clinical practice, Daisy enjoys cooking, spending time with her dog and family, exploring nature, and baking. She is a master baker, sharing her love of pastries with colleagues and the community.
