Ms. Abby Haynes is a provisionally licensed social worker, who sees clients under the supervision of Melissa Hinkle, LCSW and Leslie Ruiz, LCSW. She received her master’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her undergraduate degree in psychology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Ms. Abby Haynes comes from a community mental health care background where she specialized in sexual abuse and trauma treatment for children and adolescents. She uses play therapy, art therapy, and talk therapy in sessions. She aims to equip her clients with a diverse set of mental health tools, including affect regulation, cognitive coping strategies, and mindfulness techniques, empowering them to navigate life challenges more effectively. Ms. Haynes enjoys working with young children all the way up to teens, as well as their caregivers.
In Ms. Haynes’ free time, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, shopping, and spending lots of time with her dog, Gus.
