Leslie Ruiz, LCSW, provides therapy and counseling services.

Leslie Ruiz, LCSW, PMH-C, delivers expert behavioral health care with a focus on perinatal mental health and trauma-informed therapy. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her bachelor’s degree in social work from Indiana University.

Leslie works with adolescents and adults, helping clients heal from trauma, self-harm, relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, and mood disorders. She uses CBT and EMDR to provide evidence-based therapy, and she holds Perinatal Mental Health Certification from Postpartum Support International (PSI). Leslie supports clients experiencing postpartum depression, perinatal anxiety, and other mental health challenges related to pregnancy and new parenthood.

Leslie also mentors provisionally licensed clinicians in our Licensure Program, guiding them through their post-graduate clinical hours.

Outside of her clinical practice, Leslie reads, bakes, gardens, and spends time with her family and dogs.
