Ms. Kayla Willey attained her bachelor’s degree in human services from Purdue University, and her master’s degree in School Counseling from Indiana University, and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Butler University. She is currently completing her final training hours for her full licensure and working under the supervision of senior staff.
Ms. Willey brings a unique blend of therapy approaches to her clinical work to match each client’s individual goals and strengths. She has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, and community mental health. She uses a combination of EMDR, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her clinical work. Ms. Willey also has a therapy dog, Ollie, that comes to the office with her. She enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, with a focus on trauma, major life transitions, depression, and anxiety.
When she isn’t working, Ms. Willey spends time with her soon-to-be husband and two dogs, crocheting, hiking, kayaking, reading, watching sports, and traveling.
Meet Ollie!

Ollie is a five year old Goldendoodle (with a hypoallergenic coat to reduce allergens). He became a registered therapy dog with his handler/owner, Kayla. He has been serving the Bloomington community at local events, schools, and offices since June 2021.
Ollie has a sweet, kind, and engaging personality. He loves holding hands and lounging around the offices and at home. In his free time, Ollie loves hikes, car rides, playing at doggie daycare, and swimming.
Ollie (and Kayla) will be joining our staff in April 2025.
