Ms. Milnes is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).  She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Indiana University and a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.  Ms. Milnes approaches therapy with client-centered, solution-focused interventions.  She is passionate about creating a safe space for others to process trauma, overcome adversity, and create positive change.

Ms. Milnes has experience working with children, families, and individuals as an agent of support and guidance.  She has studied many modalities to bring healing to those in need including Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trust Based Relational Intervention Strategies (TBRI).  Ms. Milnes has experience with working in the areas of childhood trauma, crisis intervention, stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, and grief/loss.  She is a lifelong learner inspired by the opportunities available to enrich the lives of others. 

Ms. Milnes is provisionally licensed as an LSW (Licensed Social Worker), and is in our licensure training program. She is completing her client hours for her LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) while under supervision of senior staff, Bri Cha, LCSW.

In her spare time, Ms. Milnes enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
